 Gerald J. Habershaw, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021. He started his career as a special education teacher at Pilgrim High School. He later served as:assistant principal at Aldrich Junior High School; principal at Warwick Veterans Memorial High School; and finally, principal at Pilgrim High School. Habershaw started his career as a special education teacher at Pilgrim. He later served as an assistant principal at Aldrich Junior High School and principal of Warwick Veterans High School before returning to Pilgrim as principal.

Our Mission Statement

Establish a Scholarship Foundation  for students specifically in the Warwick, Kent County area of RI who become overachievers in the memory of Principal Gerald Habershaw.

 

Our Vision

The Gerald Habershaw Scholorship Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization dedicated to assisting Rhode Island’s young people with their quest for higher education. We are a private, volunteer-driven fund and dispense multiple awards per year to deserving high school seniors that plan to attend accredited colleges and universities.
